Welcome
As you tour our Beaver Local School Art Classes, we will be showcasing the talents of our students in new ways so there will always be something new to see. Please make a point to also check out the Galleries and what is happening in our art community by clicking the About and More pages.
For the School Year 2020-2021
As we come back from our Covid -19 extended break from the Spring of 2020, and no matter what grade level your child is in, there are some things to consider to be prepared for a possible blended year of in-school and out-of-school learning. First of all, communication is very important and made possible through phone conferences, emails, (HS level) Facetime conferences, and Google Classroom messaging. If you have enet issues, it is important that I know at the beginning of the school year. Always make sure that all of your contact information is updated with the school administration. Click the links at the bottom of this page to find information for each class offered this semester.
To be successful with blended learning, remote learning or online learning, all work as to be completed according to instructions (in Google Classroom), following the Online Packet (the link below) which refers to communication, supply lists, grading, and working online. docs.google.com/document/d/1608_dHfoTofmWbAtHsDNBvIIWK2btVjqCw8-66pzgrg/edit
It is important to know that students' safety within the classroom is priority. For that reason, all students have to have their own pencil and will not be given a pencil to use during their time in class. Make sure that you purchase a good quantity and good quality pencils (The lead has to be centered to sharpen properly.). Extra erasers are also needed.
For other safety, table washings, hand washings, projects storage, supply handling, and individual supply containers will be consistent throughout each class period and within the management of the classes. I will follow what other requirements are given by the school administration during in-class instruction and on-task learning times.
